Special Issue on Displacement to Mizoram

မီဇိုရမ်သို့ နေရပ်စွန့်ခွာပြောင်းရွှေ့ခြင်း အထူးထုတ်စာစောင်။

ဤအထူးထုတ်စာစောင်၌ ၂၀၂၁ စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းပြီးနောက် မီဇိုရမ်တက္ကသိုလ်တွင် မြန်မာသုတေသနထောက်ပံ့ကြေးအစီအစဉ်မှ ပြုလုပ်သည့် သုတေသနသင်တန်းမှ သင်တန်းဆင်းသုတေသီများ၏ ဆောင်းပါး (၅) ပုဒ်ပါဝင်ပါသည်။ ဆောင်းပါးများသည် မြန်မာပြည်သူများ အထူးသဖြင့် မကြာသေးမီက အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ၊ မီဇိုရမ်ပြည်နယ်သို့ အိုးအိမ်စွန့်ခွာထွက်ပြေးခဲ့ရသော သို့မဟုတ် ပြောင်းရွှေ့နေထိုင်လာကြသော ချင်းတိုင်းရင်းသားများ၏ အခြေအနေများကို မီးမောင်းထိုးပြထားပါသည်။ ဤစာစောင်တွင် ပါဝင်ရေးသားသည့် စာရေးသူအားလုံးသည် စစ်တပ်၏ ဖိနှိပ်မှုအောက်မှ ကိုယ်တိုင် ထွက်ပြေးလာခဲ့ရသူများဖြစ်ကြပြီး သူတို့၏ ဘဝအတွေ့အကြုံများကို သူတို့၏ သုတေသနစွမ်းရည်များနှင့် ပေါင်းစပ်ကာ မီဇိုရမ်သို့ အိုးအိမ်စွန့်ခွာထွက်ပြေးလာရမှုအခြေအနေကို ဂျန်ဒါ၊ အသက်မွေးဝမ်းကျောင်းမှုနှင့် ပညာရေးဆိုင်ရာ ရှုထောင့်များမှတစ်ဆင့် လေ့လာဆန်းစစ်ထားပါသည်။ အချုပ်ဆိုရသော် မီဇိုရမ်ရှိ ဒုက္ခသည်များအနေဖြင့် ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်သစ်တွင် ရုန်းကန်နေထိုင်ရှင်သန်နိုင်ရေးအတွက် ပိုမိုပြည့်စုံကောင်းမွန်သော ပံ့ပိုးမှုများ ရသင့်ပြီး ထိုသူများ၏ ထိခိုက်လွယ်မှုအခြေအနေကို အသိအမှတ်ပြုကာ အားလုံးပါဝင်သော မူဝါဒဆောင်ရွက်ချက်များ ပေါ်ပေါက်လာရေးကို ဤအထူးထုတ်စာစောင်မှတစ်ဆင့် တောင်းဆိုထားပါသည်။

This special issue features five articles by graduates of the Myanmar Research Fellowship Program hosted at Mizoram University following the 2021 coup. The articles shed light on the situation for Myanmar residents, and especially ethnic Chin people, recently displaced or moving to Mizoram State, India. The issue’s contributing authors all fled military oppression themselves and combine their life experiences with their research skills to examine displacement through the themes of gender, livelihoods, and education. This issue calls for inclusive policy responses that recognize the vulnerability of refugees in Mizoram, who deserve increased and inclusive support to survive and thrive in their new surroundings.
